Each year, Saudi National Day gives the Kingdom a moment to look back at how far it has come since its unification, and to look ahead at what is still to be built. This year, the 96th National Day was celebrated under the theme عزّنا بطبعنا (Our Pride Lies in Our Nature). That mix of reflection and ambition was felt strongly at Astra Construction’s Head Office in Riyadh, where employees gathered to mark the occasion together.
The celebration opened with the Saudi National Anthem. It was a reminder of the values that bring citizens and residents together: pride in identity, generosity, and a shared commitment to the Kingdom’s future.
In his address, CEO Baher Jaber reflected on the company’s growth and on what it meant to see, in one place, how far Astra Construction and its people have come. He linked that progress to the transformation taking place across Saudi Arabia and to the opportunities created under the guidance of the Kingdom’s leadership.

The occasion was also a chance for colleagues to celebrate side by side. A National Day photo booth, giveaways, and food and refreshments created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It brought together teams who usually work across different sites and offices, and it reflected something we value deeply at Astra: our strength comes from our people and from the pride they take in their work for the Kingdom.
