Maintenance And Enhancement of Harrat Uwayrid Road

"The Scope of Work for the Harrat Uwayrıd Road Maintenance and Enhancement project includes: 1- Assessment: Evaluate the existing road conditions, parking, and landscaping area. 2- Design & Construction: Design and build the parking and landscaping area. 3- Roadworks: Mill 30mm of the existing asphalt and apply a 50mm new asphalt layer. Add or replace concrete barriers/net protection fences with anchors. Rectify concrete gutter trenches where needed. 4- Street Lighting: Install solar street lights with poles similar to those at Ashar Valley or AlUla Airport. 5- Clearing & Disposal: Clear rock debris, clean the road, and dispose of construction waste. 6- Road Marking & Signage: Apply road markings, ceramic dots, and cat-eye reflectors; install necessary signage. 7- Procedures & Compliance: Ensure proper surveying, scheduling, safety measures, and environmental controls during construction. 8- Project Management: Provide a detailed schedule, warranty/guarantee period, and compliance with all project and safety requirements. This project aims to upgrade the road, improve safety, and enhance the infrastructure."
